Tired and worn out from my hard-working day, I dragged myself up the four floors to my apartment. When I rounded the last ledge, I saw a cardboard box unknown to me outside my door. Curious as I am, I eased the cardboard lid when I heard something like flip-flops coming thundering towards me. Before I could turn my eyes to what was approaching, lightning struck me. I got a hard blow over my head, so I sank down on my hands and knees. The world spun a couple of times while I sank half unconscious.
As if out of nowhere, the whole globe fell on me. My body was mercilessly pressed down against the hard surface of the imitation marble stone ledge. I felt myself being pushed down hard and mercilessly by a crushing weight.
