I have a part-time job working at a warehouse. Part of my job is training new employees. Since it’s a warehouse most of the workers are guys, but last week I had a female employee to train and took the opportunity to get in some finger crushing.
We had to put some boxes away in the pallet area and the easiest way to do this was to have her stand on the wooden pallet that was attached to the forklift while I handed them up to her since they were small and light boxes. To see how she would react to feeling something under her shoe, I took a small piece of cardboard and put it under there. She stepped on it and didn’t even look down to see what it was. After a few times I knocked the cardboard out of the way and put my fingers where her foot was landing. I handed her a box and she reached up to put it away and the heel of her brown work boot came down on my finger. The pain was unbelievable being smashed between her boot and the wooden pallet. This went on for about ten minutes and as she would lean away from me to put the box away, her weight shifted to her other foot, and then as she leaned back toward me to take the next one, her full weight would shift over to my trapped fingers. As we got to the last few boxes, she had to stand on her toes to put them away. She was actually standing on her toes with her boot on two of my fingers. By this time my fingers were bleeding beneath the nails and the bottom of my hand was red and scratched from the wood. After she stepped off she noticed my bleeding fingers. “What happened?” she asked. “A paper cut I guess” was all I could come up with. I was so excited by this point that it was hard to think straight. It hurt bad but I was sorry it was over and the whole time she had no idea what she was doing to me. Well, maybe another night we’ll work together again. She’s about 5’7″, 30 years old with short blond hair and brown eyes.
